Jennifer Hudson Gives Emotional Tribute to Whitney Houston on Grammys

Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to Whitney Houston on Sunday with a rendition of “I Will Always Love You” at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

The performance at Staples Center in Los Angeles began with a single spotlight on Hudson’s silhouette and a picture of a singing Houston in the background.

Hudson sung the first part of the song a cappella to sporadic cheers in the audience.

“Whitney, Whitney, we love you,” Hudson sang to end the song.
